 gned for anyone who wants to awaken their inner storyteller!Working with p
 owerful, symbolic tales from around the world—especially midlife and eld
 er tales—you’ll explore universal themes, cultural wisdom, and the art
  of oral storytelling. This is not a drama class, and there is no memoriza
 tion required. Instead, you’ll learn storytelling techniques to help you
  speak naturally, authentically, and confidently.Instructor Nancy Turner, 
 M.Ed. is a retired psychotherapist now happily living in The Dalles. In th
 e course of her forty-five-year career, she was a board member of the Oreg
 on Friends of Jung, an adoption specialist, a founder of a counseling cent
 er and a meditation center in Portland, Oregon. She has led personal growt
 h workshops and seminars on various topics in the Northwest, Hawaii, Mexic
 o  and Thailand.  Nancy has studied tales for midlife and elder tales fr
 om around the world for over 30 years, and has taught the skills of how to
  tell stories many times. Join us for this at the library for this special
  storytelling workshop.
