Summer Reading

Find Your Voice this summer with The Dalles Public Library Summer Reading Program. With programs and activities all summer long, you won’t have time to be bored. Earn points and badges by logging your summer reading and attending programs. Use tickets for a chance to win some fabulous prizes. Plus, everyone who earns 100 points this summer wins a finisher prize. You can choose free pizza OR a Klindt’s Bookstore gift card.

For every 15 minutes you read, you earn 1 point. You can also earn 5 points for each book review you write. Earn activity badges by attending any of the programs listed and receive a secret code to enter in Beanstack. All programs are free and do not require registration unless noted in the description. Some programs are age specific: Kids ages 0 - 10, Teens ages 11 - 18, and Adults ages 19+.

There is something fun for every age to earn each badge, and parents can earn badges for attending programs with their children. It’s going to be a great summer to Find Your Voice!
