Join us in the main part of the library for some fun with these amazing borde collies! Consisting of rescued border collies that entertain and educate through demonstrations of sports and skills, the team is led by player and coach Greg Gustafson of Salem. The team holds 16 Dog World Frisbee Championships and has performed during halftime shows of the Portland Trail Blazers. Skilled in various athletic disciplines, the canines can not only catch frisbees, but can play basketball, baseball, soccer and punt footballs. Gustafson said that the balls he uses are soft or deflated to not harm the dogs.
