Outreach

Community Outreach

Not everyone can come to the library, so we bring the library to the community. Through school visits, storytimes at preschools, Little Free Libraries, and visiting senior living facilities, we strive to make the library accessible to everyone. If you’re interested in any of the programs below, or have a suggestion for other outreach programs, please contact The Dalles Library.

Community Events

The library values our community and we strive to participate in community events when possible. From handing out books and driving in parades, to doing demonstrations of our technology we are glad to be part of Wasco County.
