Stomp, clap, and make some joyful noise at the library! 👞🎶 Join us for an 5-week Clogging Dance Series and learn the basics of this lively, rhythmic folk dance.

Tickets will be available at the front desk beginning at 3:30 PM and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Head up to the teen room for Manga Book Club! We'll talk about our favorite manga, eat snacks, and pick a new manga to read that we'll discuss the following month. 

If you know ukulele basics (like what's covered in 4-Chord Fun), join us to learn 7 groovy songs from the 60's. We'll cover lots of new chords, some TAB, and new strumming patterns to challenge our skills. 

Head to the teen room every Tuesday to use our art supplies to craft your next masterpiece! Sometimes we'll even bring out the iPads to use Procreate and experiment with digital art. Come, draw, and create art with your community. 

Join a group of writers aged 9-12 years old! Share your writing, learn how to give and receive feedback, get exposed to new writing styles, prompts, and ideas, and hang out and have snacks while making new friends!

Need help with any of your homework? Want clarification on a topic that you didn't get enough time on in class?

Join our weekly walk/run from the library every Thursday at 5:30 PM. We take the same lovely route each time, beginning at the Dalles Library parking lot, and ending with some refreshing snacks and drinks at the finish line!

Have you ever wanted to do an -along project? Join us at our crochet-along. Once a month we will meet and crochet a square for each of the books we read this year (or our favorite books).

Join us for a family FUN night of sweet treats and relaxing coloring as you sit back and listen to a librarian read aloud something that everyone in the family can enjoy.

Stop by the teen room for this tasty Fun Friday for some loaded fruit nachos! Take your base of slice apples or watermelon, choose spicy or sweet toppings, and load up :)
