A light breakfast will be provided in the teen room Monday-Friday from 10:00a.m. to 11:30a.m.! Just grab and go, or stay and chat. 

This month’s Storytime is a colorful celebration! Join us as we explore stories filled with bright hues, creative art, and the beautiful diversity that makes each of us unique.

This one-hour reptile program is geared to ages 5 to adult! Rich presents 15 live reptiles one at a time, and teaches about each! He asks for volunteers during the show to hold the kid-friendly animals. Rich teaches with humor and patience!

These rehearsals are open to anyone who would like to participate in the reader's theater performance of Much Ado About Nothing on Saturday, March 28th, whether or not you attended the previous 6 weeks of classes.

Every Monday morning at 10:30, join a librarian and a special guest buddy for a storytime. The buddy might be a puppet, a community helper, or a visiting critter. It's a mystery, and it's always special!

Four Chord Fun: Ukulele for Newbies is for the absolute beginner who wants to start learning to play.

This storytime is held every Tuesday at 10:30 AM in the Children's Wing. Join us for stories, songs, bonding, playtime, early literacy practice, and lots of fun!

In this hands-on, play-based program, toddlers and preschoolers are invited to build structures, make discoveries, ask big questions, and embrace the joy of a little mess.

Head to the teen room on the last Tuesday each month for a take and make kit that will highlight various methods to help your mental and phsyical health. 

Help your young reader grow with confidence! Join our Literacy Launchpad, a fun and supportive literacy program designed for children who need a little extra help.

This 3-week library series empowers adults with the knowledge and tools to make confident financial decisions.

Join our weekly walk/run from the library every Wednesday at 9:30 AM. We take the same lovely route each time, beginning at the Dalles Library parking lot, and ending with some refreshing snacks and drinks at the finish line!

Fun and games for toddlers and preschool age children! Every Wednesday morning in the library meeting room at 10:30 am until 11:00 am. Adults must accompany their child and can join in the fun! Games, crafts, music, and Fun!
