Join our weekly walk/run from the library every Wednesday at 9:30 AM. We take the same lovely route each time, beginning at the Dalles Library parking lot, and ending with some refreshing snacks and drinks at the finish line!

A light breakfast will be provided in the teen room Monday-Friday from 10:00a.m. to 11:30a.m.! Just grab and go, or stay and chat. 

Fun and games for toddlers and preschool age children! Every Wednesday morning in the library meeting room at 10:30 am until 11:00 am. Adults must accompany their child and can join in the fun! Games, crafts, music, and Fun!

Please join us for treats, coffee, and good conversation, every 4th Wednesday of every month in the New Book section.

Head up to the teen room for some gaming on the ole Nintendo Switch! Battle friends in Mario Kart, SuperSmash Bros., or Gang Beasts. 

Come play Minecraft with other teens on the library's iPads and Minecraft server! Together, you'll complete fun challenges and show off your mining AND crafting expertise.

The last Wednesday of each month, join us at The Dalles Art Center for storytime!

Get moving this season with our 6-week Swing & Latin Dance Series! Join Don Slusher as he blends each hour-long class with fun, beginner-friendly instruction and plenty of time to practice.

Family Lego Pizza Night occurs on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30pm.

This month’s Storytime is a colorful celebration! Join us as we explore stories filled with bright hues, creative art, and the beautiful diversity that makes each of us unique.

Let's head outside and chalk up all the empty sidewalks and cement walls surrounding the library with your creativity! 

This one-hour reptile program is geared to ages 5 to adult! Rich presents 15 live reptiles one at a time, and teaches about each! He asks for volunteers during the show to hold the kid-friendly animals. Rich teaches with humor and patience!
