Read, Renew, Repeat, is the theme for our 2024 Summer Reading program.  There will be performer led events on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 for all ages. This week will be Traveling Lantern presents: Quest for the Kapok.

Time for the 2nd annual Music & Magic in the Park!  This family friendly event is held in partnership with Northern Wasco County Parks & Rec, will be at 6:00 on Wednesday evenings, June 26th through August 14th (no event on July 3rd).

Held every Thursday morning at 10:30, this storytime is most appropriate to those age 18-36 months, though everyone is welcome.  We'll sing songs, do fingerplays, and read a couple of fantastic books; and, as always, we'll end with the Ba

Hang out with other fantasy book lovers and discuss the monthly book. Meets once a month on the second Thursday at 6:00 in the makerspace. 

Held at 10:30, Friday Morning Storytime includes songs, fingerplays and some great stories. This storytime is most appropriate for the preschool crowd, everyone is welcome.

The art supplies will be out for the teens to create any art they like!!

This week's Fun Friday program will be a puppet workshop. Participants will learn how to make their own puppets out of items they might find around their home. This workshop will be led by Jason Ropp, of Dragon Theater Puppets.

Join Ms. Kirsten for storytime fun - the whole family will enjoy!  We'll sing, dance, play games, and read stories.  The second Saturday of every month at 11:00.

The Dalles Public Library is starting a Clean Reads Book Club!

We‘ll meet monthly to discuss Christian based Fiction, and even some non-fiction reads if there is interest.

Cookin' the Books is a book club for people who love to cook. Each month we set a theme, pick a recipe from a cookbook that fits the theme and we bring a dish to the potluck at the Maupin City Park community building.

The Read What You Want (RWYW) Book Club meets every second Wednesday of the month. This is a book club for rebels who like to read whatever they want. We discuss the books we've read, what we liked and what we didn't.
