Due to the hot weather, this week's program will be held at The Dalles Public Library, in the main area.
Tonight's event will feature: Portland Shishimai Kai, with Eien Hunter-Ishikawa, who will be performing the traditional Japanese Lion Dance. The actual performance is only 15 minutes; however, before that we'll learn about the Lion Dance, and there will be plenty of time for questions and answers. They may also be able to add a second dance called Ryomen Odori, or Double Mask Dance.
This should be a fantastic event.
