Sci-Fi Book Club

Hang out with other science fiction readers as we talk all things sci-fi. Books are available at the front desk.

Event Details

The January book will be Stanislaw Lem's classic book Solaris.

A psychologist is sent to a space station orbiting the planet possibly sentient planet of Solaris to investigate the death of a doctor and the mental health problems of cosmonauts on the station. He soon discovers that the water on the planet is a type of brain that brings out repressed memories and obsessions.

Snacks and hot beverages are provided. Books are available through the library
