This month’s Storytime goes wild—in the best way! Inspired by The Wild Robot, we’ll explore stories about nature, robots, machines, and the magic that happens when the wild and the mechanical meet.

A series of fun activities for elementary school-aged children.

Every Monday morning at 10:30, join a librarian and a special guest buddy for a storytime. The buddy might be a puppet, a community helper, or a visiting critter. It's a mystery, and it's always special!

This month, Games Unplugged is getting an adventurous twist! Join us for a fun-filled scavenger hunt throughout the library—solve clues, explore hidden corners, and work as a team to win!

It’s Catalogue Night in the Makerspace!

Help your young reader grow with confidence! Join our Literacy Launchpad, a fun and supportive literacy program designed for children who need a little extra help.

Join us on each fourth Tuesday of the month to make and take home your very own fabulous puppet! It will be a different type of puppet each month. It's going to be a ton of fun, so don't miss out!

Join our weekly walk/run from the library every Wednesday at 9:30 AM. We take the same lovely route each time, beginning at the Dalles Library parking lot, and ending with some refreshing snacks and drinks at the finish line!

Please join us for treats, coffee, and good conversation, every 4th Wednesday of every month in the New Book section.

Family Lego Pizza Night occurs on the last Thursday of each month at 5:30pm.

Dive into Storytime as we explore an Under the Sea adventure! This month, we’ll share stories filled with friendly sea creatures, shimmering oceans, and watery wonders.

Join us this week, making Pufferfish! We'll be crafting pufferfish, getting messy, and having fun! Finished pufferfish will be hung from the ceiling in the Children's Wing for people to stare in awe and wonder for the month of May!

One-on-one reading helps kids gain confidence. This program is open to all kids from beginning readers to those looking to practice with a patient, furry listener.
