Calling all aspiring authors!

Join us for a family FUN night of sweet treats and relaxing coloring as you sit back and listen to a librarian read aloud something that everyone in the family can enjoy.

Join us for a unique and peaceful experience as we celebrate the power of sound and stillness.

Coffee and Coloring occurs the first Friday of each month from 12:00pm - 1:30pm. For adults only.

Whether you've read  and have strong opinions on every Shakespeare play or have just a vague memory of being confused by one of them in high school and want to understand what all of the fuss is about, this class is for you!

We now live in a craft store desert, nothing but miles and miles of supply sadness. Clean our your craft room and bring joy to your fellow local crafters. Bring your new or genly used craft supplies to the library to trade with others. 

Get ready to rock out with real geoscientists from Central Oregon Rock Collectors as they visit to show off some truly cool rocks!

Join us in the teen room for VR Gaming! We provide the headsets and you come to have some fun. Limited availability and room, this is a first come first served program. 

You MUST attend the first two events, January 17 and February 7. The meetings in February and March are optional. We will be painting a different view for our windows each week.

Head up to the teen room for Manga Book Club! We'll talk about our favorite manga, eat snacks, and pick a new manga to read that we'll discuss the following month. 

Four Chord Fun: Ukulele for Newbies is for the absolute beginner who wants to start learning to play.

Tea and Tranquility: Meditation & Self-Care Circle 

Come and create tiny things! Paintings, sculptures, dioramas....whatever you can think of, but make it tiny! After you have crafted your beautiful creations you will create displays and showcase them around the library.

Join our weekly walk/run from the library every Wednesday at 9:30 AM. We take the same lovely route each time, beginning at the Dalles Library parking lot, and ending with some refreshing snacks and drinks at the finish line!

Fun and games for toddlers and preschool age children! Every Wednesday morning in the library meeting room at 10:30 am until 11:00 am. Adults must accompany their child and can join in the fun! Games, crafts, music, and Fun!

Welcome spring by crafting a fresh, blooming wreath inspired by storybook gardens and cozy hobbit homes. You may choose to design a classic floral wreath — or add a whimsical front door to create a tiny, tucked-away hill dwelling.

Head up to the teen room for some gaming on the ole Nintendo Switch! Battle friends in Mario Kart, SuperSmash Bros., or Gang Beasts. 

This book club is for school aged children and teens (6+) and an accompanying adult who will read the same book (together or separately by themselves). The books we read can be enjoyed by all ages!
