Welcome spring by crafting a fresh, blooming wreath inspired by storybook gardens and cozy hobbit homes. You may choose to design a classic floral wreath — or add a whimsical front door to create a tiny, tucked-away hill dwelling.

We read books of all genres with queer themes. Join us to discuss books, eat snacks, and be ourselves in a safe and welcoming environment for queer folks and allies alike.

Our March read is "Where There's Room for Us" by Hayley Kiyoko.

Join us for a Family FUN night with a STEAM learning spin! Each month on the second Thursday, we'll gather in the main library for a family-friendly activity in the genre of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and/or Math.

Whether you've read  and have strong opinions on every Shakespeare play or have just a vague memory of being confused by one of them in high school and want to understand what all of the fuss is about, this class is for you!

Four Chord Fun: Ukulele for Newbies is for the absolute beginner who wants to start learning to play.

Good 'ole St.Patty forgot where he hid his treasure in the library. Go on a scavenger hunt around the library to help him find his precious treasure! He might just have a prize for you if you help him find it...:)

This 3-week library series empowers adults with the knowledge and tools to make confident financial decisions.

Join our weekly walk/run from the library every Wednesday at 9:30 AM. We take the same lovely route each time, beginning at the Dalles Library parking lot, and ending with some refreshing snacks and drinks at the finish line!

Fun and games for toddlers and preschool age children! Every Wednesday morning in the library meeting room at 10:30 am until 11:00 am. Adults must accompany their child and can join in the fun! Games, crafts, music, and Fun!

Teen Library Council is designed to earn volunteer hours towards graduating high school! Activities include community trash pick up, shelving/packaging books, general cleaning of the library, and more. 

Head up to the teen room for some gaming on the ole Nintendo Switch! Battle friends in Mario Kart, SuperSmash Bros., or Gang Beasts. 

Join us every month on the third Wednesday for a family-friendly movie matinee! Our movies will usually be a new release, with a beloved old classic popping up now and then during slow times of the year.
