Join us for a Family FUN night with a crafty spin! Each month on the third Thursday, we'll gather in the main library for a family-friendly arts and craft activity.

This month, we are building our own dazzling kaleidoscopes!

This month’s Storytime is a colorful celebration! Join us as we explore stories filled with bright hues, creative art, and the beautiful diversity that makes each of us unique.

Enjoy a relaxing early spring afternoon participating in guided nature journaling.

It's the Cup Olympics, where teams come together and compete to be the ultimate champions! We'll make towers, toss pom-poms, play tag, and participate in other various group activities that require everyone to work together! 

These rehearsals are open to anyone who would like to participate in the reader's theater performance of Much Ado About Nothing on Saturday, March 28th, whether or not you attended the previous 6 weeks of classes.

Sip, savor, and socialize! Each month, we’ll gather to explore new teas from around the world, learn fun tea facts, and enjoy tasty treats. Sometimes, we’ll even get hands-on and learn how to make unique tea drinks—with recipe cards to take home!

 Step into history and discover the elegance and discipline of Italian fencing in this engaging mini-series.

Start your Saturday off right with a magical, playful storytime! Bring the family, everyone is welcome for some laughs, tales, and games! Who knows where the stories will lead us! 

This is NOT a beginner class.

Where graphic novels meet games, art, and snacks! We read one graphic novel a month and then explore its world through hands-on projects, themed challenges, and plenty of fun. Reading has never been this interactive!

Join us in the teen room for VR Gaming! We provide the headsets and you come to have some fun. Limited availability and room, this is a first come first served program. 

You MUST attend the first two events, January 17 and February 7. The meetings in February and March are optional. We will be painting a different view for our windows each week.

A light breakfast will be provided in the teen room Monday-Friday from 10:00a.m. to 11:30a.m.! Just grab and go, or stay and chat. 

Every Monday morning at 10:30, join a librarian and a special guest buddy for a storytime. The buddy might be a puppet, a community helper, or a visiting critter. It's a mystery, and it's always special!

We've got all the fun going down at The Dalles Public Library this spring break!! Everyday the teen room will have several activities going on.

Four Chord Fun: Ukulele for Newbies is for the absolute beginner who wants to start learning to play.

This storytime is held every Tuesday at 10:30 AM in the Children's Wing. Join us for stories, songs, bonding, playtime, early literacy practice, and lots of fun!
