Third Thursday Book Club
Join our aptly named book club on the 3rd Thursday of each month as we discuss books from various genres. Books are available at the front desk.
For the October 18th discussion, we will have two classic books to talk about. First, because it is our Community Reads pick, we will be discussing The legend of Sleepy Hollow, by Washington Irving. If you've never read this classic, now is the perfect time, you can pick up a free copy at the front desk beginning October 1st. (Bonus, it's a short book, less than 75 pages.)
The second book we will be reading is a horror classic, The haunting of Hill House, by Shirley Jackson. Four seekers look for haunting evidence at the abandoned old mansion called Hill House. Their stay begins as a spooky encounter, but the house is gathering its powers and will choose one of them to make its own.
